Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgery comprises operations for both reconstructive and aesthetic reasons.

Reconstructive surgery may be performed, for example, to remove scars incurred from an injury or a tumor. We can also treat extensive bone loss in the jaw using modern transplant methods, such as a pelvic bone graft, where bone is transferred from the pelvis to the jaw.

After an extensive examination and consultation, we will devise a treatment plan together with you and your health insurance company.

Cosmetic plastic surgery encompasses all operations that are performed for aesthetic reasons only and are not necessary from a medical point of view.

These include Botox injections (botulinum toxin A), which are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and control excessive sweating, for example, under the arms (axillary hyperhidrosis).

Extensive defects or marked signs of premature ageing can be removed by injecting soft tissue filler (hyaluronic acid).

In addition, hooded eyelids or bags under the eyes can be treated on an outpatient basis at our practice using gentle modern surgical procedures.

If a lengthy and more intricate operation is required, such as corrective nose or chin surgery or ear pinning, we work with the anesthetic team from the Elisenpalais Clinic.

All these cosmetic operations are not covered by statutory health insurance and must therefore be paid for privately.

The individuality of your face is important, so special attention and personal consultations are required to enable us to cater to your wishes.
